3rd Polymers Workshop for the Energy Industry, November 12-13

Background texture gradient

The Y-TEC Polymers Workshop is a key applied science event for the energy industry that seeks to exchange ideas, experiences, and challenges related to the development and implementation of polymer-based technologies to shape today's energy and tomorrow's.

This event will take place on November 12 and 13, 2026, at the Y-TEC building in Berisso, Buenos Aires. In its first edition, held in 2022, the event brought together strategic members of the YPF Group along with the national scientific community and international experts. It had the participation of more than 150 attendees, including researchers, professionals, PhD candidates, and undergraduate students. The program included 5 plenary lectures, 10 invited talks, 18 oral presentations, and 50 posters. This inaugural edition was sponsored by 8 institutions.

In its second edition, held in 2024, the event reached a similar level of participation and once again brought together the national scientific community and leading international experts, also incorporating strategic members from across the industry, both chemical and energy-related. On that occasion, 5 plenary lectures, 7 invited talks, 5 technical presentations by companies, 2 presentations on transferred technologies, 13 oral presentations, and 30 posters were presented. The second edition was also sponsored by 8 institutions and 10 companies.

For this third edition, we expect a similar level of participation to previous years, with a focus on providing innovative solutions and/or proposals, particularly strengthening the connection between the scientific field and the productive sector. In this sense, we will seek to encourage company participation through technical presentations, exhibitions of developments, networking spaces, and the generation of collaborative projects.
